A Bond Contact Form has been created for those who want to sign up to receive updates or provide suggestions for the middle school design.
The Bond language requires a Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee, where citizens will review the bond plan and expenditures.
Community Input over the past two years has formed the plan for the replacement middle school. The consensus was to replace the existing, 70 year-old school with a:

700 student capacity, structured in three (6, 7 and 8 grade) neighborhoods

Multiple Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways
Black Box Theatre for Drama/Media production
Music and Choir Rooms with shared practice/ensemble
Main Gym (2 courts) suitable for full student body assemblies, bleacher seating for 700
Auxiliary Gym (1 court)
Meets current ADA accessibility requirements, energy and fire codes
Outdoor Dining and Covered Play Area
Playfields, Baseball diamonds, and soccer fields
Modern, efficient heat, cooling, plumbing and building systems
Parking bus loop and sidewalks
